The Laugardalur valley, where the race starts and ends, is near to the city centre and there are several options to get there.
By car
If you arrive by car we recommend for participants and spectators to park in these areas:
- By Laugardalsvöllur.
- On Suðurlandsbraut - the parking area there is usually quite empty after 18:00
- By KFUM and KFUMK building on Holtavegur and Langholtsskóli.
Bus
Many public buses stop nearby. Visit bus.is to find the best option for you.

The busses stop driving just before midnight. After that, you can use a taxi.
